The application process for becoming an Incorporated Society is well underway. A big thanks to everyone who made it along to our ‘signing party’ in Wellington last night to get the required number of signatures. The application process requires physical signatures that are witnessed so even though we’re a national body our first 15 members were all from Wellington. As soon as that is processed we’ll be opening up memberships and donations online and starting to work as a truly national organisation. For now we will of course continue to operate under the wing of Mountain Bike New Zealand.

Also approved at the meeting were the positions of:
- Chairperson, Ben Wilde
- Secretary, Nessa Lynch
- Treasurer, Jordan Moss.
We will be having our first AGM in August where those positions will be up for nomination and voting. The founding committee also has Rosara Joseph, Ric Balfour and Hilton Taylor who have all committed to helping get Trail Fund NZ off the ground.
